Mogurnda adspersa

Many of the fishes that we maintain and breed today were maintained and bred many years ago, often under aquarium conditions that today, we would consider very primitive. Mogurnda adspersa, the subject of this article, were bred as early as 1912 by Albert Gale of The Royal Zoological Society of New South Wales. In May 1918, they found their way into the international hobby when some specimens were sent
to San Francisco, U.S.A.
